What types of books do you publish?
We are genre-agnostic. We love books that take risks — whether that's in content, form, or emotion.
Where can I buy your books?
Our books are available for purchase here our website, Asterism, select independent bookstores, and other online book retailers. You can always request our books from your local independent bookstore or library by providing them with the book's title and ISBN.
Are you open for submissions?
We open for submissions periodically. Check our Submissions page or sign up for our mailing list to be the first to know when our next open submissions period is.
Do you accept unsolicited manuscripts?
We will not review unsolicited manuscripts outside of our open submission windows.
Do authors need an agent to submit?
No, we accept direct submissions from authors.
What is your publishing process like?
We publish 2–3 books a year. We work closely with authors throughout the entire editorial and production process. And we are not a vanity press, so we will never charge authors for any services or to publish their work.
How do I get advance reader copies?
If you’re a reviewer, bookseller, member of the press, or potential collaborator and would like to receive advance reader copies, review copies, press releases, or other updates from Girl Noise Press, email us at diana@girlnoise.press with a bit about yourself and your outlet or platform.
Are you hiring?
We are not currently hiring, but if and when we do, we'll make announcements on our email newsletter and Instagram.
Do you offer wholesale?
We’d love to work with you! For our books, you can purchase wholesale from Ingram or Asterism Books. For other items or if you'd like to mix and match books and our other products, you can contact us directly.
How long does it take to receive an order?
Our order processing times are 1–3 business days. Shipping times vary based on location. Orders typically arrive within 5–10 business days of shipping.
Do you ship internationally?
We don't currently offer international shipping. But for our books, you can purchase international orders through Asterism.
What is your return/refund policy?
We do not accept returns or offer refunds unless an item arrives incorrect or damaged. If you have an issue with your order, please contact us.
